Could be a good match-up, just not so sure it will be much in GC's favor but who knows.

I have to agree. It's rare for GC to drop the first two games but Harlan Co. will be in their faces most of the night.

Harlan County REALLY has me worried. They are very good and well disciplined. I really never pick GC to lose but out of 3 pickems I play I picked 2 being HC winners. Picked GC to win it on the CMD Pickem. May not be 5 passes between GC and HC Friday night. Neither are flashy and rely on a Power Running Offense. Two things come to mind that do favor GC in this matchup. One being HC does not throw the ball much. GC does not typically have a good Pass D. The second thing is the atmosphere at GC. Dont know if HC has ever played in that type of atmosphere before. The HC guy that posts on the CMD board says that the folks in KY do not come out that well for Football. Dont know how true it is but if that is the case it could be a factor in the game. I do know if GC makes mistakes like they did at Richlands this one could get ugly fast. Had Devon Johnson not been injured last week early in the game Richlands may have made that game ugly for GC. That kid is a beast! Anyways GC better be ready to play hard and mistake free to have any chance at winning Friday night.

Castlewood These Blue Devils are looking good so far. Should be a good game.
Clintwood Greenwave get back on track.
Eastside The Spartans will be too tough.
Harlan Coutny (KY) I really hope I am wrong.
Twin Springs Holston will be lucky to win one game.
J.I. Burton Would love to see the Eagles win this one but Norton will be too much.
Lebanon A toss up to me but will go with the CMD team.
Richlands The Blues will go 10-0 again this year.
Lee Wont be close.
Twin Valley Might be their only chance for a win.
Virginia High Bearcats are looking good this year. They will be in the hunt to win the CMD this year.

I'd say they've lpayed in some equal to and some greater than that at Legion like against Bell at Log Mountain and games like those against Highlands. Usually HC brings a great crowd with them, or at least when they come to Lee they do but its a short trip over the mountain.

I think that this is the best Lee High team in years! Anders and Graham are awesome athletes! With that being said I wouldn't count TW out too quickly! Cain and Brewer are very fast!
